We generally start in two waves with women/juniors first and the men’s wave once the first group is out of the pool.
Starting in the shallow end, it’s 8 lengths or 4 loops (whatever’s easier to remember).
Then an 18km ride from Lawson Park out to Bunnings & the Rocky waterhole loop back into town (see map on LHS).
Street Directions: Head south on Lawson St, turn left on Mortimer St and veer right onto Burrundulla Ave, turn left onto Sydney Rd (at Mudgee Toyota), turn left onto Burrundulla Rd (at Bunnings), turn left onto Rocky Waterhole Rd, continue to follow this around to the left after the river crossing, another left turn at Lue Rd, and left at the next two roundabouts (you should be back where you started).
The race concludes with a four x 1 km laps of Lawson Park (refer to short course page for detailed run map).
